So today one of my favorite clients came in, Captain Frank Magaletta of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company. Captain Frank was the 305th Captain of this organization, the oldest chartered military organization in the Western Hemisphere. During his “reign”, there were many amazing events, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, that occurred both in Boston and Europe, too many to list here, but Frank spent most of his year mingling with Governors, Lords, Princes, Brigadier Generals – to name just a few. Over the course of a year, THOUSANDS of images were taken between myself and photographers in London, and Frank came to me to get some photo albums made – and only the best will do for Captain Frank.
I wanted to explore all my options, because although I really like my photo lab, I wanted to be sure he got the best leather-bound album on them market, and so I googled.
Of course, I chose the very first name that came up on the list, which was a sponsored ad – and up came this:
Now, they PAID for me to get that error! Which is fortunate for me, because now I have a topic for my blog post, but the greater point is this:
If you are going to pay for search engine marketing with adwords or any other ad campaigns for that matter, ie Facebook… be sure the address you use in your ad is….
-
a valid one!
-
has no typos!
-
updated or redirected so that if for some reason the offer ended the user does not get an error!
because you will PAY for that lost customer! And that’s money down the drain.
