On Sunday November 29th, 2015 we held our 4th Annual “Santa at the Swampwalk” photos with Santa fundraiser for Toys for Tots!  It was fantastic to see so many “regulars”!  What started on a whim between me and David West, one of the volunteers who actually built the Swampwalk, has turned into a new annual family Christmas tradition for many families here on the North Shore!

We had a constant stream of people from 12:45 – 3:45!  I was a bit nervous that nobody would show, given we had to change the date due to rain AND the new date coincided with the Beverly Santa parade, but my fears were unwarranted!  Thank you all for your dedication and support of this terrific cause!

I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped on the day:

James Innis of Troop 58 Danvers and DHS ’19, Kasey Allain and Elodie Poussard, HRMS 8th graders, Zoe Barham DHS ’18, Marian and George Saluto of Danvers, Melissa and David Kennison, Brittany Raesly of the Daily Harvest Cafe for donating hot cocoa, and a special thank you to CPL Brendon Landry of Beverly and his family and friends who came in support of him and Toys for Tots!

Links to the images are located at the fundraiser’s own website http://santaattheswampwalk.com.  So far we around $500 raised, and that doesn’t include an estimaged $200 worth of toy donations brought to the swampwalk that day!

Thank you all!  You helped to make Christmas a little cheerier for some local children in need!
