Boy we were lucky.
As often happens on hot days, thunderstorms were forecasted for the late afternoon, precisely during Laura and Caleb’s outdoor waterfront wedding at the Elks at Bass Rocks in Gloucester. Bennett and his partner Jay were shooting video this wedding, I was there just to help set up and stayed to watch the ceremony. I literally felt one drop of rain during the ceremony but that was it thank goodness! It was HOT HOT HOT! The sun had been pouring down on our couple during the ceremony, but they still wanted to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and grab a few quick shots on the rocks before going in to cool off at the reception.
What a view!
It wasn’t long afterwards that the heavens opened up and I saw Bennett’s post on his Instagram feed – check it out! https://www.instagram.com/p/BIOPdtshz07/?taken-by=cinemascreen
But as often happens after a storm, Mother Nature delivers her reward – here’s Bennett’s next post!
(I am just noticing the pile of chairs lol! The winds had been crazy!)
Congratulations to Laura and Caleb and thank you to Laura’s mum Kathleen for contacting the studio for wedding video!
