Do you ever Google yourself? I do it all the time, in incognito mode, using the keywords I think people might use to find me, to see how I rank. I am always excited when I show up right under the paid advertising, or on top of some local businesses who I know are bigger than my little creative studio of one.
Today I clicked over to the images tab, which I never do, and was dumbfounded to find how many of my images came up, and WHERE they came up. It was pretty neat. You know people are coming to the studio to have portraits done, but you never know where the images are going to end up. I certainly didn’t think I’d get so many photo credits, so I want to thank those of you who thought to ask the media to credit me.
I took a screen shot of this post London-based theartsdesk.com. The Eric Hofbauer quintet came by a couple of years ago for some images and I always loved this particular shot of them. I was especially psyched their album was selected as a “Best of 2015”, and that they got the featured image! Way to go guys!
